
While working at Vitality as a Senior Designer, I was wrote and designed the company-wide brand guidelines for both print and digital. A big challenge was writing it in such a way as to be useful for not only other designers, but for other departments and corporate partners who may have limited experience of working with brand guidelines.
I wrote and edited the copy extensively because of this – gaining as much feedback along the way.
The design of the guidelines needed to not only act as a specification document, but an enthusiastic, brand championing, functional collection of guidelines. I created an web-based prototype as well as an interactive PDF. I pushed the visual design as much as possible to maximise engagement and increase the effective usage of brand elements.
